In 1996, Lyle had a successful IT career as a network engineer for JF Shea Co., Inc., one of the largest privately-held construction and real estate companies in the United States. Lyle and Natalie had 2 young daughters at home, and the corporate life didn’t leave much time to be a hands-on dad. After many family conversations, we decided to start our own IT company in Pasadena, California. Lyle doing all the “tech” and Natalie doing “everything non-tech”. Our first few clients were Catholic schools in the area where the Shea’s donated IT infrastructure but didn’t want to support it. After much hard work, we were providing a comfortable life for our family and were able to be the active parents we wanted to be.

In 2003 we decided to move the company to the Central Coast of California to be closer to extended family. Again after much hard work, business was successful and coastal life was good.
